Hey guys as the title states im trying to put a KS verada boot garnish on my TS bootlid.
Has anyone done this?...It seems that I have to cut and drill holes in a few places but I just want to know if it is possible first.
Also, how easy is it to replace the bootlid lock? Reason being Ive got a new bootlid and need to put my old lock in it.
Thanks very much for any help

Lock is simply a clip and bracket
The garnish, can be fitted but the boot lid needs to be cut or get a lid of the KS and paint it

Best bet is to cut the boot lid through or just find another one. I swapped mine over by modifying the garnish itself, turned out great but took forever to get it right.

Mate im pretty sure there are a few screw holes which need to be drilled (double check that though) and those big bits for the reflectors
I think a dremel would be a good way to go to keep it neat or an angle grinder to make quick work of it....
Took the bootlock off now was easy as pie. Flick the metal clip off and then there are 2 metal rods held in with clips very similar to those of the inner door handle rods

the holes are alredy marked all i done was drill the holes that needs drilling and when it comes to the holes having to be cut in the lid. all i done was is juts use a drill and drill bit and drill a few holes big enough to get a pair of tin snips into and cut away and file the rest down

 Tail lights require no modification... If you want the garnish, that's where you're going to have to start modifying your bootlid...

dont modify the garnish as it will be a waste.
Done properly you can then hook up the garnish lights to your brakes (or breaks to others here) and they look hot especially at night

sorry but im very confused and might just have to look at it myself. Yeah i might add the extra brake-light bulbs to the garnish.
I think i meant modify the boot lid or what ever. No ones really made it clear what has to be changed.
Lol not stupid but im tired.

Where the garnish screws into the bootlid, on the rada garnish they have extra brake lights which the holders of said brake lights protrude out more, so in the rada bootlids there is a few more holes cut out to accomodate this
Gimme 15 mins ill take a pic of my bootlid and show ya

Got it sorted this morning, drilled 4 holes for screws and cut out two sections where the light fittings go, easy as job to do.
Took out my lock in 2 seconds and going to slot my current one in tomorrow morning. :D
To cut the holes for the lights i just drilled around the edge and cold chisled the rest. Perfect fit.
Just trying to figure out the best way to light up the garnish now.
Thanks for the help guys, appreciate it

josh, the way i did mine was to make the centre lights work with headlights, but stay dim when brakes are applied.i prefer it this way.what i did,i tapped into the number plate lights and hey presto.something else you should think about buying is a boot liner.hides all the DIY.lol.
