If you're in Essendon, try GL Pro Sound on Keilor Rd, North Essesndon.

Their shop is across the road from Preston Motors (Holden), next door to Kia, they've moved into their new showroom just recently.

I'm planning to get a custom install by them soon...

I'd take a stab in the dark and say... you're local Mitsubishi dealer? :P

Though from memory, it was about $250 a set

Pretty sure they are sold out at Mitsubishi, Aus wide, cost a right fortune second hand as well

Guys,

As you all know im creaming in my jox as im getting the install done on Friday WOO HOO, and pix will be up late sunday, in the members machines section. as i am yet to post a pic... and quality will not be an issue with the photos, lending my girlfriends EOS40d and 16-35mm L series lens :eeek: :eeek: b/j's

also, i need some advice, i have the lpg tank in the back and a BOXED sub, and am paying PHATT to install ok..

1. do you think i should as them to cover the LPG tank with some kind of board, that can go across the back>?<
2. do you think it will cost extra to do a (not so) fancy boot install, something like 1 side is sub, other side (behind tailight) is 2 amps enclosed in perspex surrounding?

i just really wonna know what the best option to tell them is., as ive never seen boot install with LPG done guys...

Well you are paying them, so they will do whatever you want (within reason), it wouldn't be very hard for them to cover the gas tank with a piece of mdf. Just have a talk to them when you drop the car off and weigh up your options.

mmm fair enough, its just annoying never seen a boot install with 12" and LPG in the rear..

Ers

It will look sensationally average IMO.

The reason is that LPG tank takes up a lot of room that is usually reserved for your amps/sub.

As I said previously, fibreglass enclosure behind a tail-light is your best bet for a clean install. Guessing this is out of the question as you already have a box.

Depending on how good these guys are, and realising what they have to work with (pre-fab'd box), chances are it will end up in the middle of the boot facing the rear.
