i've had a quick search.. as a guide what would be considered healthy for an auto 6G74 (KJ/TJ) to make at the wheels.. power wise.. any one have a scanned chart to show where peak values are made and how much they drop off etc.. i know the verada's are quoted to have a couple more KW than a executive, and sports/vrx more than the rada's..

just after a point of reference to what is most commonly seen at the dyno, i know there will be a variance between cars/dyno's..

im pretty sure you should be seeing anywhere between 110 and 125 atw
depending on mods and age of car

1. all readings from different dynos will be different

2. veradas should have no difference to the exec. just slower on the road coz of weight.

thought i read in the handbook they have 155kw vs 147kw in the exec? i know there slower though lol.. the TH exec i gave to my dad (bog stock) would run rings around my rada with cat back and air intake lol i noticed it got a fair bit slower with the 20's...

hmm, well i dunno what any books say. but the veradas have the exact same mechanical setup as an exec.

KE/KF/KH Verada = 147kW

KJ Series 1 = 150kW

KJ Series 2/KL/KW = 155kW

TH Magna 3.5L Exec = 147kW

TJ Series 1 Exec 3.5L = 150kW

TJ Series 2/TL/TW Exec/ES = 155kW

All figures are for the non-"sports" FWD models.

And before you ask, the 147--->150kW was due to a revised cam profile, and the 150--->155kW was due to a computer tune. All TJ Sports and VRX already had the revised tune, even the series 1 models hence the S1 sports/VRX has 163kw as do the S2 models.

ok having confirmed that..

in the real world what are ppl usually seeing at the front wheels through a 4spd auto, mine is S1 KJ rada so i'd assume would be quite similar to a th exec/other older radas.. and getting approx 112kw @ the wheels.. give of take a few to each dyno etc etc

I had the figure of 112kW floating around my head, So Im guessing somewhere around that should be reasonable.
