I am currently upgrading my sound system and as a result my console has been taken out...
i thought this is the perfect time to repaint it...
it had done it silver not too far back but not happy with the result.. due to me doing a not so good job :cry:
so i have now sanded and cleaned all the peices ready to be primed and painted...

painted.... but what colour..:confused:
im thinking doing it silver again or black...
my car is a charcoal TE...
what do you all think?? what colour do u think would best fit my car?

i have mine painted silver and i like it not to over the top i know you said you had it silver before but it does look good.

silver or gloss black, anything else would look silly (and usually does, based on most results on here ;) )

actually what you could try is a more grey than silver, get some grey on there, might go better with the exterior.

But please, no reds/blues/greens etc, unless you're prepared to follow it up with the whole trim done in a similar fashion

Go piano black. I did this with my centre console. Only thing is you'll be dusting it down every 2 to 3 days if you are pedantic like me!

Piano black is just my way of saying gloss black. Here is a pic of it anyway :D

Correct, rest is woodgrain.
I had a local panel shop paint the centre console in piano black and the engine cover in body colour for around $300 if i remember correctly.

How about a metallic gun metal? thats what i went with for mine and it looks awsome because its not soo stand-outish and has a slight sparkle effect in the sunlight.

i used desert rose metallic on mine like a gunmetal grey with more flake in it and a tad darker i didnt use a clear coat on it so it came up like a semi satin finish ill go get a photo of it in a moment, You can get it from supercheap for 10.99 a can

Im not sure if thats what you mean coz he didnt reply, but the woodgrain in mohits car is factory, its a Verada Xi I think
