Hi everyone;
I have been planing this fora while and i finally got off my rear end and did somehting. Now for all thore reading this here ar the additions
1. A custom boot mount for my sub. sorry i was going to put it in the car audio but there is anohter addition which isnt car audio. I have taken a page out of Tufftrs old book and gone the fluff on it. its not in yet ut its gotten soe strange looks from family and friends already. Photos are of the build progress
2. More LED lights for the boot. No photos of these as yet as i want to take one with the sub box in place, all it is is 2 led sticks that are wired to the boot light. Simple yet effective.
3. Painted door runners. I got bored waiting for the glue to dry between the foam and the board of the box so i grabed a tin of paint and went nuts. and to be truthfull i think it looks good.
Anyway enough rambling here are the pics
Cheers

Boot install looks good and well made.
Not sure about the Amp being on the floor in the back though? Dirt & damage from passengers feet would be my concern.

Yeah i know, the next job might be to make a false floor with perspex or similar so its covered and can still be seen. That is once all this is done.

Dude that fluffy cover looks ace!!!!
Just what i need to tidy mine off!
I had painted door runners too but after a while they just looked tacky ( to me anyway )
I plan on just painting the two risen bits with silver paint, will look nicer IMO.

My amp for the sub in on the left hand side of the boot (between the rear lights and the wheel wel) and all it is is a piece of mdf roughly the same size as the amp, screwed to the carpet and the amp (so far, for those who are about to say thats unsafe im fixing it this weekend comming)
also how did you fit the boot mount to the boot??
do you have any photos of the back?
All the mounts are is three right angled brackets (bunnings in the builders isles) used for pergolas and such, screwed to the floor of the boot and the wall screwed to them. Id get a picture of how its set up but i would have to take the back seat out again. (damned seat covers)
Anyway enough rambling here is a night shot of the boot i promised. sorry about the quality taken with a camera phone
Cheers
