Im gunna need a new headunit too so if anyone can recommend one that can handle all this that'd be great.

This is all from eBay and is gunna cost me about 300ish without postage. what to put where? LOL just want to know how to set it all up mainly.

Any1 know how to take the dashboard speakers out so I can swap?

thanks everyone.

What? All of that for $300? That stuff can't be any good, I'm far from being a car audio expert but I know enough to know that $300 for all that stuff is way too low for quality.

I'm not sure, but I don't reckon you'll fit the 6" into the dash, you'll have to rig something up into the doors, but 1st gen door cards are pretty flat so it should be simple enough. And I think you've got to give us RMS values for the power, not the max/peak. Then we'll be able to help you out with the amps.

Basically, you'd want a 4 channel amp for the front's and rears, and I'm not sure what you're up to with the subs, is it 2x6.5" and 2x10"? It's generally not awesome to mix subwoofer sizes, as through the freqency response you'e shown, the 10" can play what the 6.5" can, and more. Tell us how you want to set all this gear up first.

And yeah, it probably isn't high quality gear, but if you're doing it yourself and for the first time, better learn on this, than some $500 splits.

No offense intended man but thats more than likely going to sound like utter ****.

Be much better off just getting some JBL 6x9's for ~$120, Pioneer coax 6" ~$60 and a decent headunit, say Sony or Pioneer ~$120. Might not be as huge on bass, but it'd sure as hell sound better.

I would tend to agree...:doubt:

the system will only be as good as your cheapest part... if you get my drift.

like i would start with a better head unit and work back. front speakers. rear speakers, amps for both, then sub and amp to power it last.
