basterd! last week, on the day of my bday i watched someone reverse his magna, yeah that's right, directly into the back of some jeep with a fair bit of force... the guy didn't even jump out to have a look at the damage he caused... i though "man if that was my car getting hit i'd appreciate someone telling me" atleast if the guy that hit it didn't give his details... so yeah, i left the bloke a note with my name/number and the other guys plates, his insurance called me today.

Shame about yours dude, i cant stand idiots that let their doors rest on another car while they're shopping, let alone copping something like that

haha i saw that happen once too Omar

i wrote a note saying, @ insert time and date here, i saw some dude insert description of driver here lol reverse into your car and take off without stopping..... mentioned his car details and reg.... gave my alternate mob number... received a text saying thanks! went to the police and all sorted :P

i hate bastards who do that, i once saw someone get rear ended at the lights, the car in front pulled into a side st as to not hold up traffic.... happened right on a corner busy road... the car that was at fault just nailed it! i didn't get the reg, damn! i hope their car blew up after all the coolant leaked out ha haha that would be some form of justice

be careful about making a claim with your insurance, because of those tail lights. They might void your policy.

Somehow I don't think clear tailights on a parked car is going to have to much to do with seeing that a car is in fact, parked.

However, these are insurance companies we are talking about... :doubt:

ouch - maggy in PAIN!

feel for ya and ya car - its always a PITA when someone damages your car - even worse when they dont care to even check the damage or leave details.

was once in a car with my mates (not my car, me not driving) and we was at the shops - long story short, sunlight angle back, and ended up backing into the car in the bay behind us.
we all spent the next 2hours searching for the owner of the car but to no avail.
ended up leaving some contact details (of the driver obv) and he was never contacted about what happened.
moral - did the right thing, tried to find the owner, couldnt find them so left details on the car.

just pisses you off no end when other people dont have the same curtosy back for you.

You poor bugger. It's times like this I would really like to have a car taser - y'know, 40,000 volts running through my parked car so that when some dropkick touches it they are instant kebab

Its so annoying. both side of my car look like it been hit by hail theres so many door dings.
and the other day i found i massive scuff mark on top of my front bumper abve the rego plate. must have been an suv luck he probably didn't have a towbar cos he woulda put the front grill through.

Depending on the excess, it may not even be worth claiming on insurance.

I feel for you buddy. The same thing happened to me on the weekend just gone. Had my car parked out the front of my mates place and come out to find it smashed up. Barstard just drove off and left no details. Got quoted $2600 to repair.
