I got a kind of weird issue with my air con, when its set on normal dash, it still comes out the bottom of the footwell and the airstream coming out of the vents, doesn't even seem to be powerful as it comes out more in the foot well, so i have to have the Aircon on full just to get an even reasonable breeze out of the dash, its like, that having the combo of the foot and dash is the same as it having set as just the dash, cause it seems to come out in the foot well, on both settings. But it doesn't come out on the other 2 settings used to de-fog the windscreen.

Any ideas what the problem is? I was thinking that the knob to switch between the 2 settings was broken, and can only go as far as having the combo dash and footwell, setting. As far as cooling the car, it does it perfectly fine and gives a perfect chill breeze, which cools the car down fast, but I just like having a nice cool breeze blow out of the dash stronger...

One of the cables that run to the heater box/diverter has come off... just a matter of getting to the lever/cable thats come loose...

does this mean i have to take off the dash etc, cause it does feel like it changing the vent movements, when i turn the knob, but i dunno...

nah mate, just remove the drivers side knee panel, hope you know what i mean, and its on left hand side of the foot well. Theres a stack of white pulleys and all that jazz and most likely one has jumped out of place. This happpened to me and it was stuck on dash only.
