Ok guys the following is my car:
97 TF Magna Advance 3.0L
The problem is the indicator switch (not sure on termanology) makes a buzzing sound when indicating right, this has been a problem ever since i got the car and sorta getting annoying, not sure what it is, but it only makes this sound when the indicator switch is placed for right indicating, if you do it quickly and with decent force, it doesnt do it, but if you push it slowely and softly it makes this sound, just wondering the following:
1. Anyone have any idea what it could be?
2. what is an approximate price to get it replaced?
3. Why is it doing this? LoL
Thanks in Advance

My TE did exactly the same thing when I first bought it.
Seeings it was covered under warranty, I had it replaced at a Mitsu dealer - something around $350 for the whole new multi-function switch.
I remember a thread here on AMC about what causes it and how to fix it.
I think you have to bend a couple of pins a little bit so they make better contact and it will go away. I'm sure a good search will find the thread.

Its been covered a few times, 90% of the time it is caused by a dirty connection between the switch itself and the connector. If you remove it from the steering column and clean the surfaces up with a scourer and put it back together it will usually resolve the issue.
You may also want to check the flasher/buzzer unit if this does not solve it, afaik they are a cheap replacement aswell, not sure on cost, but its around $50-ish.

If you are unlucky and it happens to buzz when going for a roadworthy/pink slip then yes, it will affect the outcome in that you will fail.

mine did that.....turned out that just the plug at the back had come loose just enough to not make a good enough contact

hey i have the same problem also, what ive noticed is that the noise is coming from the fuse box just next to your leg room on the driver side its on the right side, i dont know for sure what the actuall problem is but im just guessing its the indicator fuze or something to do with that area because i can hear the buzzing in that fuze section.

Thats the buzzer/flasher/whatever unit. As I said, not an expensive component.

Just checked my Magna, same thing same place, im assuming same buzzing, does this mean its the flasher/buzzer unit?, if so im gonna go get a replacement as this will save me constant headaches :D

Mine does something similar when I'm using the wipers, just sounds like a relay though..
