Hey all, as the title states i have a problem on the TS that i can best as wobbling.

just drove out to my mates house tonight and on the way there i could feel i few more bumps and knocks than usual and thought, *I dont remember the road being this bumpy*

it gradually got worse, so i pulled over to check the lug nuts were tight, they were so i kept goin. got to my mates house no worries, few hours later drove home.

As im driving home i realised that it was gettin alot worse.

Symptoms were:

between 45kph and 60kph, steering wheel shake, audible knocking and obvious wobbling sound ONLY when slowing down through the gearbox, applying the brakes or accelerator made it go away.

tapping the accelerator caused the same problem.

basically it occurs when load is applied to the front wheels.

have checked rotors, pads, lugs nuts, engine mounts, the suspension i could see.
from that im thinking, tie rod end, control arm, bush, warped rim (highly unlikely)

the only adjustments ive made recently was replacing the POD filter with the panel setup.

any ideas please post, the problem is friggin annoying

cheers tim

have you fixed the front left suspension since you hit the gutter?

Front suspension arm bush fallen apart.

Look at the bushes at the rear end of the front suspension arms.

If you do a turn does the car lurch and the wheels feel if they are about to fall off?

simply problem with a simple solution, split pin shattered and fell out of the tie rod end. All fixed, Split pins are cool :D
