Well,

As I have been ranting on, my car is meant to be running by now, but when I took the car in for tuning, the sparky didnt finish my wiring properly and stuff up the dizzy, so, had to leave tuners, go back to sparky, and back to tuners, BUT! He is on holidays untill next week now so ill be phoning up on monday to get the car booked in for tuning then.

In the mean time, here is some latest pics of my car, my EL dash kit has arrived, and will be installed some time this week.

Keep you posted in this thread when its finished and running and whatever I decide to waste money on.

The visualls on the car are lacking, but it has all the get up and go you could want.
Im presuming your going to get the bonnet and bumper resprayed?

I dont want leather seats, I have a set of recliner buckets in the car already which I have posted up not long ago.

2ndly I just re-sprayed the bonnet roughly today so look below for a new pic:D (still needs to cure and a wax to make proper shiney)

The bumper cut wasnt hard, had the FMIC on the car and held the bar up to it and marked with a text how big I wanted 2 cut out.... nothing to hard? its called get angry with a coping saw?:shock: Will be putting a front lip on it in time to link up the bottom of the bar tomake it half decent.

and I am getting some kenji ?? japanese symbols made up to go down the bonnet infront of the driver. for the person wondering about decals, reason im holding back is because i might get the whole car resprayed soon.

and my EL kit in on my dash now but need to wait till night to see if its working cuz yeaah, u cant tell.....

And wait for the car to dry before taking shots after a wash next time, looks like it's covered in sawdust or something, rather than what I assume is water reflecting light in a bad way.

I have to say, the horizontal lines from the diamante grille and the intercooler really tie together nicely!!

Just been messin around with the EL kit, got it all installed fine, took no more than 10 mins in and out but just gotta hardwire the pos and neg to ur dash lights which is hard to do off the back of dash, will have to do it off the stalk or a fuse.

The engine will run quiete nicely, its not a high power build, but its strong using good parts.

not currently running as of yet, will next week. The old build made something like 172 or 179 on 5-8psi?

haha I got bored and made up stickers, so I now have kanji symbols saying "way of the warrior" and a manga cartoon caracter called Naruto Uzumaki but its drawn in Chibi style (look it up on google for definitions, takes effort:P):bowrofl:

Also, had someone on the forums paint my front bumper for me so you can get an idea what it will look like soon enough!

You could have at least spray painted INITIAL D on the bonnet rather than ****ing Naruto... lol

have you put any thought to maybe spraying the cooler black so it doesn't look so in ya face?? more sleeper look to surprize more ppl.

Don't get me wrong i like the look if it has but it needs the power to boot and since this is the 2nd thread about the turbo that is almost done. just seems to be alot of talk but hard to see the progress apart from the cooler and black bonnet oh and decals now.

Bonnet is sweet, Seeings as those stickers were free and a trial looks test, You should get some mitsi or magna ones made up and swap them over!

It's nice to see turbocharged second gens.
Undoubtedly, a lot of people will mistake them for Galant's or think that there was a turbo magna released from the factory.
A lot of people already do think there was a turbocharged magna (2nd gen) released from the factory because of the HH Galant VR-4's. The 1987-89 models look very very similar especially from different angles and the tail lights.

Car looks good diamante front looks swell. Not a fan of the black bonnet on the red car. Stickers would look better as a "reflective chrome red" on the bonnet to suit the colour of the car and retain cleanliness.
