can anyone give me a link or send me the original mitsu document saying the timing belt on a 1998 magna must be replaced at 200,000km i need to prove the car dealer i bought the car from wrong

it dosent say that, but should be replaced every 100k usually over either the 90k or 105k service

It actually says both. Early on mentions every hundred thou, then it specifically says at 200k.

You might find service book or operators manual at wreckers.

I can't believe he's trying to argue it - it's standard on pretty much every car out there to change the timing belt every 100k. That's used car dealers for you...
