To anyone who knows or anyone with a Ralliart with the stock Eclipse head unit.
Has anyone connected an MP3 player/iPod to it?
If so how?
I read in one Ralliart article (which may be suss) that the Eclipse head unit is supposed to have the ability to connect an MP3 player somewhere/somehow.
I cannot see any type of connection hole/socket anywhere on the head unit.
I cannot see anything obvious in the manual.
The head unit has an 'E-COM' button on it.
I've looked in the manual but it doesn't seem to say what this button is for. The manual says to press the E-COM button 1 second. (which doesn't seem to do anything anyway except mute the unit (button is used for both E-COM & Mute).
When you select the 'Source' button it goes through... Tuner, CD and 'AUX Mode'.
I've looked in the manual but it doesn't seem to say anything about the AUX Mode.
