Hey everyone just a few questions about whats compatible with the 90 TP magna.
If I was to buy a pod/oval/panel filter what sizes do i need? will any size fit? how would I hook it up what piping would i need to buy?
is there any sort of a racing/sports/performance chip that could be added to increase performance?
whats the best mods to get the most out of my car?
it already has a 2'' redback cat back system, looking for new extractors. any ideas on good makes?
I have head you can get after market lights, no idea where from or what they look like, if anyone can help me find some that'd be great.
thanks again guys your always helpful!

My opinions;
Any generic pod filter will fit your car, you will most probably need an adaptor plate to bolt to the MAF, SuperCheap Auto stock them I believe... Shouldn't cost you more than $50 for Pod, MAF adaptor and support bracket. Keep in mind that you won't experience much gain from this, as Pods are best for sucking in cold air rather than hot engine bay air, plus your MAF might not like the 'swirling' turbulent air, as is common with second and third generation magnas.
Performance chip... Either a piggyback or a full ECU but you'd be looking anywhere between $400 - $2,000 for those respectively. Don't be fooled by resistors sold on eBay marked as "performance chips" which fool the car into running rich 24/7, these are detrimental to your engine.
Mods to get the most out of your car... Second gen roller rockers (or entire head for that matter) and inlet plenum... A general tune-up of your car even, fluids replaced, filters, plugs, leads...
Extractors; Lukey make decent sets, however I was advised that they aren't manufactured anymore, so you're probably best off looking at wreckers for those, you might get lucky... Otherwise try the RPW website for some.
As for aftermarket lights... None are available for first gens, head or tail lights. You can upgrade your headlight bulbs to something better but apart from that, nothing.

from a wrecker
TR 4 cyl
the roller rockers, cam and head need to be the one unit
it is not the done thing to match odd heads to cam and caps
so do the vale stem seals
an bolt on and new tappets help
you use the same TP plenium
cold air you buy piping or another air box and destroy it to adapt a new cold air intake
you need to keep the air flow meter in the system
mitsubishi put all their racing and rallying -- research and development on the lancer
so nothing happened to the magna
unless you want to pull the motor out
get it redesigned fully balanced diiferent pistons the end result is less
unfortunatly power to the road -- than putting in a turbo setup

the wiki pictures not up
the roller rocker has a roller wheel to run on the cam instead of the machined foot of the regular first gen cam
