Well when I got my car the Drivers door rattled and squeaked ... I had my windows tinted in early January and they obviously tightened everything back up because it stopped.
Now both doors rattle like buggery under any kind of bass setting and its very annoying. I dont really want to pull the car apart every 2 months to tighten stuff up.
Anyone else got/had this problem?

when you pull it of to fix it it might be a goos idea to place some locktight thread lock on the screws and bolts to stop them from undoing

yup stock speakers have some punch :) I'm leaning towards sound deadening ... but surely i'm not the only person to crank these up and get rattles. Someone mentioned to me in a previous post that the 380 has a special clip holding the interior to the door. Seems i'm going to have to take the door skin off and investigate :(

Hi,
It was me that noted the clip inside the door. I also get some vibration at times in the doors when the bass is cranked up. I find that it is usually easily fixed by opening the power window a bit and closing it but not allowing it to clunk all the way home. (i.e. just close it until it cuts the noise). I find I only get the vibration if I let the windows close from fully open to the close position where it seems to add extra pressure to the internal window mechanism where I think the vibration originates in this tight situation. Backing off a fraction always removes the vibration for me even with the bass on full and the volume set right up. Give it a try. You'll get used to the process pretty quickly. Cheers...

My dads old SX used to do this too. Was really really annoying. No idea what caused it though.

Sure you haven't got a falcon or commorode? They rattle out of the factory.

Just fit some Dynamat Extreme into your doors. My doors are nice and heavy with no rattles whatsoever. In addition, you shouldn't need to have your stereo turned up as much either because the insulation will reduce external noises from entering the cabin.

I now have this problem. Did we ever find out exactly what causes the rattling?

True, the stock stereo is actually half decent when you have the right settings, although, i do crank them up, get rattles but not from the door, it's actually from the sunglasses holder. Might want to check that one, it might be easier to fix than the door...

My rattles turned out to be the screws on the door panel. Especially the screw behind the handle you use to pull the door shut. Remove the screw cover and tighten. Thread lock it maybe.
EDIT: yeah my sunnies rattle away in there also.

Sunglass holder vibration can be fixed by placing a self adhesive piece of felt on both sides of the vertical section of the holder holder.
When you push the holder closed the felt locks it on nice and snug and you cant see the felt.
Vibrations gone!!!!!!!
