hi everyone,

the led on my dashboard that indicates that i have shifted in D has died on me. Anyone knows where to get a replacement and how to install it? Thanks!

Mitsubishi sell them but they are a custom long-stalk mount incadescent globe (not LED); they are about $7.50. My suggestion is to cut the old bulb off the stalk, then solder in a new bulb.

The one I used is found from Dick Smiths, they are called 'grain of wheat globes' and are a 12V globe with pigtail leads which are very flexible and can be inserted into the factory mount. They are $1.00 and much cheaper than the Mitsubishi ones.

Mine does the same thing (rarely). Just give the plastic infront of the 'D' (on the speedo area we're talking about aren't we?) a flick and it comes back on (loose connection on mine anyway).
