Today driving home in the KH, i started to hear a random beeping/buzzing.

I realised that it was the buzzer that comes on when you leave your lights on when your car is off.
It was beeping randomly like a short beep every 5 seconds then a long continous one every now and then. At first i thought it was a warning chime of some sort but there were no lights comming on the dash but when it started to become more of a random beeping i realised that something was wrong.

Oh yeah, one other thing worth a note was that the buzzer no longer works when lights are left on.

Very strange.

Anyone also come accross this?

You wouldn't believe it.

I did the good old pressure relief of the ECU's hernia by disconnecting the good old battery.
Believe it or not it fixed the problem.
Dont ask me how or why but all i know is that it no longer buzzes and the buzzer now works when lights are left on.

Does this suprise us? Highly doubt it.

Could have been moisture?

but nope never heard of it.....:confused:
