Hi all, I would like to know if it is possible to prevent my auto box from engaging overdrive until around 70kph. Running in economy mode as I do all the time, overdrive will engage at 50kph under light go pedal then runs like a slug, not wanting to kick down until I am giving it more than 50% pedal. Any solutions?

If yur only going around town and under 70K's anyway just leave it switched out. :)

it's flamin amazing! The solution is right under my nose and I can't see it. Thanks AMC members for bringing to my attention the fact:bowrofl: that oldtimers is creeping up on me at the gallop.
By the way, this is the same car that I was cruising up and down the southern freeway in limp mode (3rd gear only) 3 or 4 times last year at 110kph. reco tcu solved the problem
