kings don't make superlows for the rear because the spring doesn't sit captive in the strut, but as long as your offset is ok then they won't rub.

ive got 235/40 r18's which is same width and they dont rub or scrape, only scraps i get is the front mudflaps and the occasional bang on the front tow points, even with 5 blokes in the car +boot full of piss still never rubs or scrapes

only thing to probably recomend is front and rear camber kit so you dont wear the inner tyre too quick ive got mine coming just gotta wait to install though due to damn rego and insurance

andrewd says
tell your bro to gtfo!
no it's fine
i had 20's 8.5" wide rims and lowered much more than superlows and due to correct selection of the wheel and offset
no scrapage at all
same on the front
thats the best thing about magnas one of the few cars you can slam and not have to worry about all that
now my astra on the other hand..... i needed a hammer to get rid of the rubbage with the 20's and i still get some

its a 2001 astra 3rd so the previous shape... smaller car than the current one
anyway king lows compresses twice
and in an un andrew like thing normal king lows anre going in the front tomorrow :( yes raise it up some.... it tucks rim on the front when 2up, yet has much more travel than the magna which was hard on the bumps so it rides ok
but it lifts a wheel getting into my driveway... and when i occasionally put on the stock 14's its far far far to low lol
it went from 0-100 in 9's on stockys to 0-100 in 11's on the 20's hahaha
other than the wheels and lowering and tints and debadging, its totally stock.... not even intake /exhust mods.... but it's run to drive... manual shift action could be better and drive by wire is lagy... but still more fun than the awd
all though nothing anywhere near the the magna for relaxed laid back cruiseability... magna owns all cars in that respect... esp with a rada interior :D

Might not be the best person to talk as my springs have only been installed recently, and havnt fully settled yet, but, i run superlows (lovell) all round on 20s (30 profile), and have yet to scrape on anything, no rubbing at all on a TJ sports, even at full lock.
Friend had the same rims on a Ralliart, no rubbing either (car was also low, not sure how low but)

aurion is great....
the ctr console arm rest is FANTASTIC it slides forward and damn awesome
and the wheel has decent height reach adjustment
the seat is nice to sit in
but it dosent have that arm on door crusing thing happening for it
the door tops inside taper in at the top and are quite thin and not chunky like a 3rd gen
then there is no framless doors
the coolest thing about a 3rd gen when you open them with the windows down...
then again.... neither are a patch on my old VF hard top with a 318... i took out the stereo in that car!!! but that's now in my archives.... long gone :(

you wouldnt HAVE to buy a camber kit but it will chew the inner tyre out a lot quicker due to the camber angle of the tyre. Im running mine atm without camber kits but as i said before it is something i am doing soon as rego/insurance is paid for. I was running 45mm lowered on the standard 16's for almost 6 months till i got my rims never had an issue at all now the rims are on Mad bikers wagon

and the astra just messing around in the garage with it, no the pic isnt chopped... thats the car the lhs rear spring is out but it's not sitting on the bump either though.... and thats the ride height on the front!

this is good to here , because i'm looking at lowering mine. the only thing is if i go a JVM front and vrx or ralliart kit the rest. will it scrape the crap out of the kit or will it be fine. i'm tossing up between superlows or lows. cause i don't want it scraping. :D

Hi,
I've got a TJ VRX and I've lowered it on Lovells Superlows front and rear. Currently rides on stock shocks which are dead. Tyres are Goodyear Eagle F1's 235/45/17.
I've had a full car load and bootful of beach gear, tyres don't scrape at all.
The only thing you need to worry about is scraping the front bar or sideskirts when going up or down driveways and/or speed humps.
Hope this helps.

ive got a standard exec so i dont have to worry about a bodykit but the standard gear is fairly low as it is
