my headliner in my te was sagging so i bought one out of a th and installed it only to find out the interior light in the roof is in a totally different spot about 2 inches forward so i cannot bolt it in. im annoyed that there different positions for the light, now ive got to find a way of securing the light so it doesnt fall out anybody with any ideas?

could you make up an extension from the old bracket to hold it into the new postion? If its only around two inches forward, a thin piece of steel screwed to the old bracket would be able to hold up the light wouldn't it?

i think thats going to be my project tomorrow (weather permitting) i thought they would all be the same from te-tw but obviously there not
For future reference, anybody with this issue a KE-KJ head liner matches up perfectly, you'll just have to strip back the dome wire a little to hook up the dome light.
There are pre-punched holes to mount the map light bracket at the front of the head liner.

KE and KF are the same, KH has the stop light at the top of the window and there is a small cut our to go around this.
The KE - KH have the larger interior / map light set up the same as the Second Gen Verada centre light, at the front above the mirror. The holes are in the frame already and you will only need the light and bracket and a little mod to the wiring.
The TF - TH interior light position changed, not a lot can be done about this, I do not think a bracked will help as the light also holds up the lining to an extent.
You are best off gettinga verada one and then you can use the better interior light. Get some rear pillar lights as well and you are all set
The KJ and KH head liners are also the same, I have a KJ liner in my TH. 2nd gen map lights/dome light works a treat, you'll also need the metal bracket to hold it up though.

Definitely a worthwhile mod, stock Magna 3rd gen interior lights look crap.
