It is a 1993 TR 4 cyl. , it has done about 250,000 Ks and apart from belts, thermostat and the usual consumables it has never given any trouble,.... till now.
It would not start straight away a couple of times and then while driving along it just died. The RACQ man said there is no spark and also no pulse at the injectors , I am not sure how he checked the injectors. I have not been able to check the diagnotic codes yet, (it is stuck in another town) but was wondering if there is something that typically goes wrong the TR that would cause this? Is it likely to be the ECU?
Thanks Guys.

If it is the ECU and I can get another from the wreckers, how difficult is it to change and just where the hell is the bloody thing? I had the motor and gearbox and just about everything else out from under the bonnet about a year ago and don't remember seeing it.

Remove the glovebox and the trim behind it. It's against the LH quarter panel. (An ECU would die a horrible death if it was mounted inside the engine bay).

Thanks teK..,
I take it you mean from the heat. If the diagnostics say it is caput I will be pulling it out. I have a Gregorys workshop manual but it is in the car, like I said about 150 K away at the moment.

about 150 K away at the moment.

Why can they never do it at home?
