Got to Dan’s (Trotty’s) house at 10:20am and left at 10:30pm.
Big 12 hour job and i got to watch the extractors being made and customised to fit.
The engine now has more of a deep “performance” growl even on low rpm and just cruising in cabin the sound is more of a deep grumble instead of the normal v6 sound. There's noticeably more pick up from the 2500rpm mark up till 5500rpm. Best part i like about it is the constant pull after 2500rpm.
From outside, Dan took the car for a spin and it sounded wicked.
Enjoying them very much. Owe you one for constantly working on it for 12 hours without a break. Thanks man. Once again your work has delivered the results.

nice dimi. I've got a new phone so if i can afford fuel i might make some videos as well.
Sounds great and nice job Dan. Any reason for shorter length in the primaries? (mine joins behind the sump).
Pretty quick too Dimi.

Well by the time i had a shower it was like 11.30pm... I went to bed without eating all day...:doubt:
I'm still eatinglol
The bill is in the mail dimi, i'm still counting the bits of skin missing from my arms....
Oh and i changed his spark plugs aswell, while i had the inlet manifold off... they had seen some miles the old ones...
Well hope all is going good.
And the short length was mainly due to the space between the rear crossmenber and gearbox output shaft. not to mention ifthey were any bigger on the rear i would have had to remove the engine to get the bloody things in. So mainly space. So i kept the front bank the same as the rears...
Just on another note... do you know if the variable inlet butterflys are working? It just seems to be totally gutless below 2500-3000rpm then just takes of like a rocket.
Maybe they are the reason your not getting any respone below the 3000rpm mark?

Thanks fellas. Heaps happy with it. It's great because when driving normally it's not too loud in cabin but the engine tone has changed to a more "deeper" performance note.
Hey dan, could be the inlet butterflys that's causing that problem with the no response. I might have to get that checked out this week. Yeah pretty strange. No response at the bottom then it'll just take off. Kinda annoying hehe it's been like that for ages.

Thanks guys. Means a lot.
After 3000rpm the front lifts slightly and it just sails away. Feels good and sounds great.
I'll have to look into what's causing the pedal not to be very responsive anywhere below that range. Hopefully it's just a small issue :D
Yep perry you should speak to Dan. He'll cook something up for your new ride for a good price too.

Cheers. Just noticed - it does sound pretty mean especially in this video. Very proud of her.
This is what it sounds like with the new headers driving past at normal speed and coming around again giving it a bit.
