Hi everyone,

Just a couple of shots of my new toy, 2004 KL Verada Xi

complete with new wheels (ANZ five plus five gunmetal 18 x 8). I think all I will do now is drop the ride height, and that should do for now. I'll sell the original wheels I think.

Other than that, the car is original, with a dealer fitted rear spolier, and with a genuine 20,000kms on the odo.

Burgundy Verada's are by far the hottest Veradas on the planet, even hotter than black IMO.

Very nice buy. Great kms! Should serve you well. Used Mitsus are just so undervalued these days!

Thanks guys, price? Under $20,000 if that helps.

BTW interior is the light grey, but even that looks better than I could have imagined.
Still tossing up whether to replace the "premium sound" unit with a mp3, ipod, and bluetooth capable one.

As for lowering yes, needs to happen.

What is everyone doing there? Same drop all around or different between front an rear?

It appears that to get that nice "just a small gap" look you would need to drop the front more than the rear, yeah?

a search of the topic would bring up a lot of info for you - but yeah, people normally put shorter springs on the front to give the car a more level / balanced look :)

Definitely more at the front, hides the oversized from wheel arch :P

That colour really is great, and 20k kms wow! Congrats on the purchase mate.

i'd recommend kings superlow's up front and low's out back, that should even out the gap

Actually on a KL I would only recommend lows all round, they have a visually smaller front arch than previous models and dont need to be brought down as much. If you want it slammed then obviously superlows are the way to go but from experience the lows give a better ride and handling compromise.

Do they really? Is the front mudguard actually different to a TL?

These are the wheels previously on the car. Obviously clean and unmarked and with Turanzas fitted with about 50% tread left. Shoot me a message if anyone is interested.

arnt those the AWD KL mags?

i was under the impression that the AWD KL got different mags from factory to differentiate it more from the Ei verada?

yours looks a whole lot whiter than mine - mine have a more silvery tone to them..

Pob overexposed on the phone camera, same ROH alloy colour as any other alloy, including the wheels on my SS Thunder Ute and wifes Astra.
