can anyone confirm that brakes that *would* fit a EVO 7 will infact bolt up to a Magna?

example. mainly is the wheel stud pattern (114.3 whatever) is the same as the magnas?

Same PCD but doubt the calipers would bolt straight onto the steering knuckles since they are a larger diameter disc.

with mounting modification?

im not looking at putting EVO brakes on, more looking at putting on aftermarket EVO brakes on ;)

Yes you can Ben, The calipers would need to be modified and depending on the calipers you use, you might need spacers too but it's not a big issue.

Thank god you know how not to use Evo brakes.. Sounds good but it disappoints... So is the clutch...

Most Jap cars share the same Stud patterns, not including Subaru which follows the euro ones.

when u say that the EVO's brakes disappoint... the problem is with the rotors rite? i can't imagine the brembo's calipers being a poor piece of gear

As they said. Just costs time and money. Remember, the RAlliart front callipers are from an earlier Evo.

why buy from ralliart when you can get better Willwood/Brembo/Ap Racing!

most of them are custom made anyway!
if you wanna go wilder then Tarox!

Cheaper option is to get Commodore VT calipers which are twin spot. You then can get a pair of 330mm discs to fill your wheel (note these will only fit wheels 17 or above) and get a brake and clutch bloke to install. I got a quote to get this done with slotted rear discs to match and all braided lines for just over a grand, was gonna cost heaps more using AP racing calipers, but VT's will do the job

Ben - The dude with the Turbo Magna said Evolution 6 brakes bolt right up. I'll find out for sure though next time we see him out.
