Did you get them from the wreckers that had a Verada on ebay?
Nice buy!

yep haha, asked if they wanted $50 for them and they said yeah, $50 each:D
is that the listing you were thinking of?
if anyone needs some 2nd gen verada parts for cheap ring this number:
03 5794 2885
The place is called nagambie wreckers, its in victoria.
I got my parras for $100 so if you need a part for cheap make them a offer, they are really friendly people.
After reading the magna operators manual it doesnt have different bulbs for the verada model so im guessing my H4's will fit....

Hmmm, I guess that explains why they stopped answering my emails.
Me: How much for the Verada Headlights.
Them: $50 each.
Me: Yes please, I'll buy them - are they in good condition?.
Them: Yes, good condition. Send your address (to work out freight cost).
Me: Here's my address.
Them: All gone quiet - no response.
oh well :doubt:
Great cheap buy anyway mate - at least they went to an AMC member. :D

Headlights are the same although instead of a T10 Parker bulb they use a BA9S bulb, so probably have to cut and solder them together.

Thats a good deal man! Omar and I got quoted $100 for a passenger side 2nd gen parra with broken mounts! Plus $150 for the drivers one which wasn't damaged. So hey, you've got a pair of fully functional parras for the same price you'd pay for a single broken one down here in melb! lol

Mine was almost a straight swap. As Tuffy said the parkers may differ. Sorry in advance for my lack of porper terms, but my TS parkers had a wedge-like connection but the parras required a connection similar to a normal light globe (push in and turn, has two pins). I've got white headlight globes in mine and the vision is unbelievable, street signs almost glow from 200-250m away, I definitely suggest getting them.

:stoopid:
MUCH cheaper (at least for LED versions). I might look for some new ones actually, mine aren't as bright as I'd like. I think the ones with a flux LED on one end and 4 standard LEDs emitting sideways might be the best option for paras.
Though I think K-Mart might have standard incandescent ba9s'?
My paras (Jap diamante, but same as KS) have ba9s ("bayonet" style), the old exec's had T10 ("wedge" style). The actual plug for the parker system was different too, so had to do some cut'n'solder (can't remember which connector I kept; probably the old exec one, as it would mean you can solder the plug to the lights whilst they are still off the car, instead of trying to solder inside the engine bay).
PS. Everyone, I hereby propose that the standard should be "paras", with one "r", as it is short for "parabolic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parabolic)"
They are not eels!
