Was wondering if any knows where i can get fault codes for a Pioneer DEH 3350 HU

While i was working on the car yesterday i had the HU on playing some music and all was fine but when i went to turn the car off i noticed that the HU lights were flashing in a code format.... now i no this must be a problem but every thing seems fine....

my system is

Pioneer DEH 3350

Clarion Spilts

Clarion 12 sub in ported box

Clarion 120w Amp

have had the HU for About 6 years

and the rest of the system is only 14-16 months old and has been fine until yesterday

And i was replacing the hand brake cables so was nowhere near the HU .....

hope you can help....

Never heard of that, maybe it is the "buy a new head unit " code? anyway, I'd try resetting, disconnect the power for at least 10 seconds and see if it stops. Or just leave it if the unit is working fine

Would be nice to leave it but driving it at night is a distraction....

Would like to do that but i dont know where the manual would be...

look like a new HU is no the way....Maybe a nice new DVD unit (Non Screen).... Any suggestions....

since it's an old head unit.. the face plate's contacts may be wearing out, or dirty.. isn't the first time i've seen it

If it's a detachable face, try cleaning all the connectors and stuff behind it, also it wont hurt to hit the rest button either. If you're still hvaing problems, yeah, buy a new JVC DVD Head Unit ;)

Yeah we have a 4 or 5 year old 5650mp that has been passed down through the family that is playing up. With the cost of them you should just replace it.

JVC dvd headunit are fairly affordable these days if thats what floats your boat :D
