my 2nd keyless enrty remote has started to fail. and i dont want to spend another $70 on another one, i have a 98 tf so its the older black and grey remote, but there are never any on ebay, can i reprogram the new TH remotes the same way (the green and red button remote) as they are allways on ebay pretty cheap or are they incompatible?

dont think u can use the newer ones to work for your, replacement should only be $50 anyway

I think you'd have to get an aftermarket alarm to fix that permanently, otherwise just keep replacing the remote, not much more you can do really, I'm in the same boat, cept mine is less than a month old, brand new when I got the car :D
