Here is the problem/question. When I rev my car (driving or stationary) at differing higher revs it makes a loud but short squeak noise, sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesnt. It sounds like a belt and I'm just wondering if anyone has had this problem before and know which belt it is.

it could be either one really. if you lock the steering and it does it more then it is more than likely the power steering belt.

Thats pretty much exactly what it is, good to know it isnt something too serious.
