hey peoples,

got a question for you, how important is this bracket, i drive over a fox last night and hit it along the exhaust very messy lots of blood, anyways no major damage but i was able to bend a bracket . now the one on the other side is ok, but this one is bent and is only held on by what looks to be rubber or something, exhaust doesnt rattle but f i grab hold of it and shake it left and right it moves pritty easy. is it expensive to fix and will it last to my next service which is in 6000 kays. thanks in advance

Not important mate.

I drove around with one broken for months. Then one day at an auto place I remembered it and they had one for like $5.

10 Minute fix, I believe they had it on the invoice as an "exhaust hanger".

Thats the rubber bit. The Metal bracket just whack it back into shape with a hammer.

Yeah a pair of vise grips/rubber hammer oughta put it back into shape. Would take you less than 5 mins to do yourself
