HI i started up my ralliart today . was cold ofcourse and i heard a tapping noise from engine bay for about 3 seconds and then it went away?

What do you guys think

I'd guess that's one or more hydraulic lifters being drained of oil & then pumping back up when you start up.

This can happen if your oil level is very low, so check that first.

If the oil level's OK, it probably means one of the lifters is getting a bit tired. Not really a problem as long as the noise disappears within a few seconds.
