Hey guys,
I've currently got some 19 inch rims with 235/35/R19's on them. Need new tyres and have found some 245/35's on sale AND with the correct load rating.

However i've heard stories of people having troubles with rubbing with the 245's?
With the 235's i have now i get zero rubbing, so offset doesn't seem to be a problem at the moment.

Any advice would be much appreciated :).

the 245/35/R19 are a close match to the 225/50/R17 if that helps?

Yeh I know they're fine from an overall diameter view, just not sure if they're too wide (probably should have said that instead of "big" :)).

Well its really only an extra 10mm isn't it. Do the tyres get close to rubbing anywhere atm? If you've always got a decent gap around the tyre regardless of the positioning of the steering, I wouldn't be too concerned. Thought about the differences that'd make to the speedo though? You'll be going 1.1% faster than the speedo says with 245's compared to 235's.

I run 245/35r19's with king lows/superlows and have no problems, however my vrx flares have been trimmed (by the previous owner)
