Ok, posted previously in the Victoria section about bringing my car to Oz, will be moving to melbourne in the next few months. Have decided it is way to much grief to import my car to Aussie, unfortunately due to the import market here in NZ resale values are crap it looks like I will reap AUD 14,000 for my ralliart. Still only has 15000kms on the clock have 18 inch TSW and K&N panel otherwise pretty stock.

Anyone have suggestions as to what to buy when I come over couldn't bring myself to buy another ralliart as none will be as good as what I had. Budget maybe AUD18,000

18k will walk you into a vr4 or legnum manual with 40-60k give or take. Or a FTO as well. Really depends on what you want to buy next.

yeah alot of thrashed VR4, legnums over here, and all getting a bit old so hard to find low km's. the ralliart feels like new with such low km's, would like to get something similar. not sure how much more I'm going to need to pay over there.

if not a kj series 2 verada could be the go, nice luxury and usually kept in good/pristine conditon (exception of gas_heds :bowrofl: ). If not, maybe a 380 vrx is an option as well. There is a lot of cars in aus around the 18k mark just a matter of researching.

Surely with $4k to spare you could bring it over, even if it cost you a few k to get it over here, you could more than likely sell it for $18-20k over here, being slightly newer than most of ours and with low k's.

I'd be keeping it and going through the hassles of bringing it over, it'll be nicer than anything else you buy over here from Mitsu I reckon :P

For 14K resale in NZ, I'd try and bring it over. Especially with only 15,000 on it.

Bloody hell only 15k, I thought it was 55k when I posted before lol Should be able to sell that low to mid 20's over here. Definitely a keeper I say!

Have been looking on carsales website, pretty grim reading in terms of $$$, will try to find someone with experience of importing to Oz and have a re think, still have a month or two before the house is sold up.

Thanks for all the comments
