Ok, im not sure if this will get removed... but i thought it would be a good idea for us to have a thread that names and shames mechanics (ie name of business) that have tried to, or have ripped you off!! That way we can try and save eachother the time and expense off being taken for a ride... especially good for people new to the forum, or for those (like me) that arent as mechanically minded  please only name the "place of business"... lets try to not make it a personal attack!

Edited, we will not have slanging in the forums, if you have had an experience, speak to the supplier, if no good word of mouth is a good tool. Please keep these out of the forums

Dont think id be able to fit a list of places that have screwed me over or done something dodgey....ie leaving rags in engine bay, stealing a clutch, using immitation parts, charging 8,300 for a stock astron motor....the list goes on.

but yeah, this thread will get removed.... Sorry, I know your intentions are good, and its a good idea to make a list of places because its becoming a more common practice to do the dogey....unfortunately.

I know quite a few I wish I could list. Ah well, simple mistake, it was all with good intentions.
