Just want to check before i make a fool of myself:
i ordered T10 LEDs off ebay and after turning up today i found that they were too big to replace the Lights in my cluster. after being puzzled for a moment i noticed that its clearly marked T13 on them. this means they are a bigger size and that i didnt get what i ordered did i, thus the seller should replace or something? or have i got the right thing and i didnt try to force them in hard enough. i have a TS.
thanks,
Stormie

I haven't looked around for the T13 info, so it could in fact be too big, but it also depends on the type of LEDs on the T10; I recently got a pair to replace some in my dash, went for the flux (square-looking) ones with 4 standard LEDs angled outwards, completely forgeting that it had to fit through a hole!
BUT... I eventually figured it out, if I angle it, got one of the normal LEDs under the hole lip, rotated, with some manouvering it all made it through. NB if this is the case with yours, don't do what I did and not put it in the holder first, I lost one of 'em through the hole and into the cluster, had to disassemble the cluster to get it out!
[EDIT] Just did a search, looks like T10 and T13 are the same thing.
PS. If in fact there is no way to get yours through the hole, you could always resort to disassembling the cluster and putting them through from the front?

ok thanks, its not the LED part, its the plastic casing, seems only mm in it, was thinking of maybe getting some sandpaper onto it or something (both the LED and the cluster) then decided that probly wasnt a great idea. If theres someone in WA around whod like to come and advise me it would be greatly appreciated, im living at curtin uni.

maybe getting some sandpaper onto it or something (both the LED and the cluster) then decided that probly wasnt a great idea.Should be nothing wrong with that, as long as you don't cut any electricals it'll be fine; in fact lots of people sand the faces of LEDs to spread the light more.
Most LEDs are epoxy packages, and most of these T10 etc LEDs are just LED circuits embedded in an epoxy.
