Hey Guys,

I have a tw 2005 magna with a stock cd player and it now won't play any CD's because it got the E--2 Error :(. This what happened, i changed cd's and i didn't notice there was a piece of paper on top of the cd :bowrofl: next thing you know i eject it and then E--2 pop onto the screen.

So i went to my local mitsubishi dealer and they said, i need to get a new player since im still under warranty and that i haven't used any burnt CD's ^____^;;;;''' i will get a replacement, which is gay cause it will take like 10 days.

So does anyone know anything or suggestions to get rid of E--2 Error

E--2 = CD will not play

not really sure why you would wana fix it yourself, if warranty is covering a new unit? just sit back and relax, a if warranty is covering the cost you shouldnt worry about it

Isn't that the 'moisture' error code? Hold the CD infront of the aircon and re-insert. Worst in the morning?

So...You are getting a new HU on warranty. But it will take 10 days to arrive? And you are complaining about that? lol

or just keep it set aside somewhere safe.
and in the event of you selling your ride, put back in the mitsu h/u and keep your (most likely) much better headunit for your next ride.

tis what i have done, altho mine is sitting on the garage floor somewhere....

and why where you complaining about mitsu basically giving you a new one that works for free?
free stuff is ALWAYS good stuff - so never say no to it!
