How deep are they? Can you feel them with your nail?
If you can you wont buff it out.
if its just into the clear and looks like a scuff try some Scratch X on it or meguairs Swirl remover 2.0

you can see the plastic so it must be deep

Well then you have no paint there so its obvioulsy not going to polish out if there is no paint.

you can try and get some matched up paint, clean the surface, dab it on, let it dry for a day then sand off the excess with 2000 and give it a good buff.

My front bar has marks just like that from tapping a fence or something (previous owner). I'm opting for the respray option, other is TUFFTRs, which you can either do yourself, or pay someone like the touch up guys to fix, wouldn't imagine they'd charge much more than $100-150 to fix that, if thats worth it to you, it'd probably be the same method.

The answer is 'how good doyou want the car to look?'. Want it to look like it never had the marks? Then taking it to a good panel shop is the only solution....

Get it touched up at a panel shop.

You could rub out the non deep stuff fairly well and make it look better, but the deeper scratch will still be there.

You can't really repaint this yourself, as the paint needs an additive to make it flex with the flexible bumper, otherwise it will just flake off.

Good luck!

how much do you think it will cost to have it fixed at panel shop

should cost about a couple of hundred $$ to get the whole bar repainted, lesss if they just blend the repaired area.

My bet is that - being metallic paint- a decent repairer would want to repaint the whole bar. So yeah, a couple hundred to sand and prep the whole bar (if not just bead blast it), then repaint. Save yourself some dough though and pull the bar off and reinstall yourself

bead blast isn't needed. all that is needed is to feather out the scratches, prime the repaired area, sand the rest of the bar and give it a coat of colour. $200 tops. I wouldn't charge more than that.

I got quotes on my rear bar to repaint and it went for around $200-$300 depending on the place. You may save some dosh if you take it off yourself and fit it back yourself (they'll probably charge an 1 hr labour to remove and refit).
