What a pain in the ass these couple of days have been.

My brother bought a car off a mate's brother and it had one of those crappy china touch screen dvd decks in it. We said that we dont want any of his audio gear so we pulled it all out and gave it back to him.

He then asked us if we could install it all for him in his new car ( Honda CRV 01 ) and we told him to just take it some where to get it done for him ( because i know how touch and go those decks are )

He kept bugging us to do it so we ended up saying ok. Installed his splits, amp under the seat, amp in the back and his subs. Wired up his deck and turn it on.

The deck starts to go mental. Volume keeps going up and down, changed inputs etc. I gave it a little hit and it stopped doing it.

Anyone know what the problem could be ? It took us around 13 hours to install it all and tbo i cant be stuffed with it anymore :doubt:

Yeah.. i know i just thought it might have been a common type of problem with touch screen dvd decks and a fix for it.

I told him to get another deck and he said "it worked fine in my old car"
