Lowered the car on friday... Front drivers side now makes a loud clunk noise when I hit even the smallest of bumps in the road... Frustrating as, I've checked all the bolts and they are all secure.
Has anyone had this problem after lowering? Assistance would be appreciated, it's pissing me off.

are the springs lined up correctly?
and did you put the strut tower top around the right way?
do you also get the noise when you are at full lock?

AFAIK strut tops are in correct position... Little extruded marker facing outwards, correct me if I'm wrong.
Spring seats correctly in bottom of spring cradle and if I remember the top was all flat anyway so no difference up there...
Clunk occurs during straight driving and it seems to occur when the car comes down (like, you hit a bump, go up slightly and go down) Could be struts bottoming out? Weird because only one does it :(

lol same here, like everyone says the springs jut sitting not quite right (it probably came loose while you were putting the strut back in) but in a week or so it seems to reseat itself correctly, mine took a couple of days

Yeah I'll just wait it out, I think it's getting better, should I try to recompress and move it? I don't really want to take the shock assembly out again :( Sick of suspension mods after lowering two cars over the weekend ffs

Ok... Got car back from Mitsubishi today (for unrelated problem) and jacked it up, took out the shock+spring, recompressed spring, changed position of the top spring cradle to match the original way (stupid thing was about 20 degrees out), decompressed and reinstalled... Problem SOLVED :D
