The last couple of days it was really difficulty to simply twist the ignition barrel. After wrestling with it lol it would crank and start. Today the barrel has fallen in slightly, and the key won’t move start…nothing. (i think the stearing lock doesn't work either)
3rd gen TE sitting there and isn’t going anywhere lol
Wat to do????? Any help please!!!!!!!!

Is the key the problem, or is it a placement problem? Does the key slot in perfect still?
My 2nd gen one went. Cost me something like $200 to change plus 2 keys.
With the TE im not sure, is the ignition in the dash or on the steering wheel?
The annoying issue is I have 2 car keys now, one for the door and one for the ignition (I have keyless entry so dosent bother me) but for you it may cost more if you have to match it to the whole car, this is why I said mitusbishi job (Costly). Hope that makes sense!
If its in the dash id say a Mitsubishi job, on the steering wheel most places can do it. (Depending on key as above)
hope this helps
