Hi peoples... I just thought i would post up the latest acquisition into the family. Yep, the Grandfather went out and got himself a 380 ES! I have to say he is pretty stoked with the car and is happy with the deal he got on the 380 and on his trade (01 TJ exec).
It was advertised at $18990 and he managed to get the price knocked down to $17200 on road - his trade of $5500 on the TJ. The 380 is bog stock apart from auto trans and has around 45000 km on the odo.
All it need now is a lowering, wheels and the 90mm air intake! lol

What does the standard 380 go like compared to your old modded one?

Well i couldn't really give it heaps since he was sitting next to me and actually read out the riot act before we set off... lol But it did feel tight in the body and suspension and the auto felt really good as you would expect for those kays.
Wait wait wait, is the TJ traded in the one my old seats were in? Now someone is going to be bloody confused by the spec's in that car lol I think each owner has added one non-exec feature to it since new, its slowly becoming upper spec'd.
Anywho, the 380 looks nice, I don't mind that colour, although it is a "bit" grandpa now hahah. All who vote to give the car to andrewd for a day raise your right hand! Lowering on 20's ftw :P
I actually thought you traded in the TL lol

Auto conversion?

I'm assuming that your grandfather is not interested in any of those mods? Pity. I also assume a stock 380 dyno run would be totally out of the question ...?
Looks good though. Lowered on big(ger) rims would do it.

Auto conversion?
Weren't the auto cars dearer than the manual versions? So could consider the auto to be an 'option'.

Geeeeeeeezee...what is it with your family and magna's! Anyone would think someone told you they were good cars  lol
Pfft...paying 2k to downgrade (IMO lol).....I like to think of it as an Auto conversion, just the manual was never put in :P

Looking good. That colour with tint, lowered, decent mags (perhaps black in colour) would look fantastic. Good price too.
