Hi Guys

I went into repco on monday to order some slotted rotors for my TJII Sports.
I told him which car I have and he has quoted/ordered DBA 425S's. He only asked if I has single or twin piston calipers to which I said single.

Now this morning I went to the DBA website and used their calculator which spat out the DBA 417S's as the correct rotors.

Now i'm confused :nuts:

I assume the guy at repco has quoted for a TJ Magna? I was pretty clear to which model I have.

Which rotors are the correct ones?

Cheers
Aaron

DBA425SL and SR for the front and DBA 426 for the rears the DBA 417 is the AWD rotor. From memory you can use the DBA 417 with the single piston its the same width etc just its 294mm not 276mm so its slighty larger.

If you check DBA catalogue again you'll see that 417 is for AWD. For your car you need 425 on the front and 426 are the rear ones.

Thanks guys. So the 425S are the right ones.
I'm only changing the fronts.

The DBA website is really confusing.

The dropdown choices in the calculator are;

"TF, TH, TJ, VR-X, Sports V6 (6/97 - on)" --> 425S

or

"TJ(II) AWD V6 (1/2003 - on)" --> 417S

Since my car is a 2003 TJII Sports it is difficult to know which one.

The DBA site is correct.

This is because the AWD came out in 2003, apart from some early builds in late 2002 I believe.

The key bit is AWD in the title.

sorry for the noob question but will these rotors fit a TH :redface:

edit: its ok i found the catalogue... what is the diffference between S and X series??? man i suck at using the internet. im presuming when you choose the 4000 series for the fronts you get to choose what type you want. im thinking sloted. sorry for hijacking.

thanks mike

s means they are slotted and x is cross drilled.

EDIT:

for dba 4000's the part no should be DBA4425 then either s or x depending on what finish you want.
