Just finished painting the inside of my doors making them totally black and have also done the console. I have black leather door cards and console lid on the way thanks to 666. Now all i need is the leather seats (half way saved for $$$), to paint the glove box and other little bits of console and maybe dying the carpet to achieve total black. Oh and a tint. Will be reinserting door trim tomorrow afternoon and will post pics then.

pics?

i take it you like the colour black then?

i do too - but i think there is a limit to how much you can put on / in a car and still retain a sence of class and the like.
unless your not worried about that.

does the interior feel claustrophobicly small now with so much black?

It looks a lot classier than the old set u, i wasn't a fan of the stock colours, and the old owner did some damage to them so i repaired and painted. Looks alot classier than it did, and will look even better once the leather seats go in.

The parts look awesome! will match quite nicely. Can't wait.

Pics will be up this time tomorrow when i get my parts back :D

Haha mate I did this about 2 weeks ago. However I also pulled out the entire dash and did it black as well as the doors. Not as big of a job as you may think, and matches the doors nicely. Looks good. Unfortunately after 6 cans of VHT vinyl dye, I couldn't achieve the jet black I wanted, so I left it as it turned out. Also painted console, vents, and the vents in the dash silver. Also ripped out the roof, carpet, and all plastic parts and clips and things, like the A pillar and B pillar bits and front pillars and painted black also. Seriously, I have gone through 100's of dollars in paint, but soooo worth it.

Also don't bother dyeing the carpet, just get a new one from knox auto carpets. Plush pile black is 165 inc postage. Saves some hassle.

I'm gonna have to start a thread when this all done so I can show off. Leather seats, suede black roof, everything gah!! :D

Very interested to see how your completed job turns out though... PICSORBAN! :D

Lol lots of black inside the interior looks really stealth and nice, it really gains a bit of class. Not like fully hektic red everywhere haha.

However the claustrophobic feeling doesn't really exist for me, except for the roof, which is sagging  I'll take it out and redo with automotive glue, however it turned out pretty good for a first go home job.

Haha! that's awesome, i need to do the rest of the dash i.e the glovebox etc. havent been bother to work out how to remove it yet. Pics on the way have to let it dry properly etc.... I agree big time on the stealthy look and that it is much more classy than red and other colours etc. I'm glad there is another all black member makes me love mine even more!
