I'm thinking of doing my zorst sometime soon and I wanna know what exhausts ppl have put on their 2nd gens. I know there's teh Lukey LR2779 and it's bolt-on version AL4-5597, but has anyone installed a Magnaflow/Redback/Cannon ect?
Oh, and what's teh diff between bolt on and weld on?
If ya can post up pics an mayhaps a rough cost of teh install n muff it would be schmick 8)

My last Car - TR V6 - LR2779 with dual chrome tips. Look pretty good, sounds ok, cost me $220 fitted
that's nice :p I'm after somthing like the below...love that look (whateva it's called...Twin DTM Tips???).
Does redback make a muffler similar in style to the below?
I know missks got somthing like what I'm after. I found out that the magnaflow is $440 ouch!
Sorry bout all the q's...mayhaps the bolt on lukey is a simpler option :D

Best is greatly a matter of opinion....and also depends on what you're after. Are you after noise or performance or both?
hey, while on the topic of dual tips...do redback make a dual tip setup?

I am well aware of that.
jus thanx for buffin those scrapes LOL
not a problem, now it looks like your bumper needs a wash :)
And now for somthing completly different...has anyone experimented with a Lukey Ultra Flow muffler? Are they loud (but not stupidly so)? I'm guessing that it would be louder than the LR2779 (or whateva it is) and it's bolt on equivalent.

for one no sports muffler comes with a tip. you have to buy it extra. as far as i know redback dont make tips and i thought DTM was a brand in itself. i could be wrong but anyway my exhaust guy quoted me 50 bucks for a twin tip almost exactly like that pic to go on my redback.
I know that you have to buy a tip seperate. DTM could be a brand but Magnaflow and Xforce both say in thier product advertisements 'DTM tips' (or somthing like that) so I assumed that DTM referred to the 'bent-upwards-and-cut-off-at-an-angle' style. Good to know that redback can have twin tips!
