go 20's
235/35 R19"s would be the closest.
Speedo would be 0.1% too fast then. A.k.a, speed says 200km/h, your doing 199.8km/h! lol
You might get a little rubbing on the front mud flaps full lock, but that should be it with 235's, provided the offset is right. Running 245's is when you start to run into troubles I believe.

245's are closer then 235's
as for the rubbing on full lock, i get it when full locked to the right

It depends which wheel you originally had. If you had either the 16" or 17" standard the 245/35r19 is closer in outside dia. If you had the 15" standard 235/35r19 is closer. I run the 245/35r19 on mine which does not have the correct load rating (by about 40kg a tyre). Also my vrx flares have been trimmed to prevent rubbing. Also the vrx tyre placard lists the 17" as the minimum fitment to keep the 19's leagle (only allowed 2" over standard in SA).

Even if you are only allowed 2" just og to mitsys and buy a tyre placard off a series 2 vrx, should only cost a couple of dollars. It will certainly be enough to keep the police off your back.

its a TF Advance, so factory it'd have the 15" steelies, which make the closest 235/35 R19"s as I said before, no 245 tyre will be as close.

May as well go and get one off a 300C, which has 20inch rims standard. Can go up to 22's then.:doubt:
This is an incredibly bad idea, as it is illegal, and if a cop does know what he is looking for, you will get reamed for it. Not to mention voided insurance if you have an accident, and you are driving an unroadworthy vehicle.
So if ANYONE decide's to follow that path, think about whether its worth the potential consequences.

Ahhh, so it does.
When I was having a quick google last night, I was looking at the STR8 version, which does have 20" wheels.
I stand corrected.

NSW you can have what ever size rim u like as long as the overall rolling diameter is no more than 15mm more or less than standard.
For instance, i have a 98 TF, came stock with 15s. Im on 20s now with a 35 profile tyre and it is 18mm more over standard.
