hey matey yeah its gen leather [its a pain to try and pleat it]and no havent glued nor will i,due to if i wanna change it in a couple of months and secondly its easier just to use hog rings on it anyway here's another pic not hog ringed yet[busylookin after my daughter today]

Wondering how much you could do it for, seeing you're really close and what not.

brumby hide has thicker wrinkles than standard leather and a lot harder wearing ,and it also looks cleaner

just fitted red and black leather bottom seat and i have also made a shift boot for my auto shifter what do ya all think
also back will be done through the week stay tuned

Would you happen to have the pattern/dimensions of gear boot cover to share? Would like to make my own, but its easier to copy from yours rather than go through trial and error. If you don't have the exact pattern, then measurements on a rough diagram is fine. Did you use a ring of any type at the neck of the gear knob, to give it a tight fit?

probably best off going to mitsi spares and getting a manual boot from there to get your exact measurements they use a plastic ring on both top and bottom and they fit the auto as well with a little mucking around.

cheers mate ,i can send ya measurements but they wont be as accurate as you would think as there is a slight bend in the stitching but hey you can always try right ill pm to ya coz right now i am going ta bed ,and as for holding to the gear knob itself i just turned mine inside out and zip tied it mate

nah i have used dacron on the edge then removed it before install so my walking foot will run smoothly over it there is no dacron on there at the moment though as manouvreing round front edge is a pain with leather dood ,apart from that its all good i was thinking of using piping but i thought it would look like crud

yeh na looks old school with piping...looks more boat seat like.....would love to see close up pics of the whole interior....looking at doing the fiancees magna sports....but i dunno if i want leather or suede...then im in process of getting explorer...want to pimp it right out..just message if u need more cars for wedding
