in my KJ verada the heater in the climate control won't work,
all the hoses are connected ofcourse, i don't belive it is an issue with the cooling system.. but more an issue with the heat exchanger under the dash..
as the vent position servo motor and linkages was stuck in the demisting position when i bought the car (had been sitting with very minimal use for a while, old couple.. you get the idea)
i freed these up with some elbow grease and a stick of dry lube on the slides.. i'm thinking it's a similar problem with this.. or perhaps the motor has been stuck for that long and has been trying to move and has burnt out.. mitsi want some $120 for one.. i have no hesitation about going to the wreckers and pulling one apart to get the servo motor for the heater tap..
from poking around i'm assuming that the heater tap is controlled by the servo that is visible from under the passenger side footwell..
i know it kinda sounds like i've answered my own question, but i was just seeking ppl's thoughts on this..
