You need to lower the backend though..

I cant … I had the back lowered with std lowering springs and with the weight I carry ( iam a tech) in the boot it looked like a dog dragging its **** across the carpet …. So I had pedders make a custom set … the rear is heavy duty half height ( halfway between std height and lowered but heavy duty ) … that’s the best compromise I can get … if you look at some of the original pics I posted you will see the car with the std lowered rear ( and that’s with the boot empty )

Well that makes sense then :)

You should have got kmac to make a set of heavy duty low's..

They make any custom spring with any spring rate you like :)

Hey are those rims the one from the TMR 380? They suit very very well.

Problem with heavy rear springs rates is that they behave like a heavy sway bar, and the 380's already have a bit of lift off oversteer dialed in.

This is true. But if its carrying weight all the time it should still be pretty sedate. But, imagine how much fun you can have without the weight! Nice and taily!

This is true ... but i dont have much choice ... and the weight is almost always in the boot so i dont notice it much ... but can get very " tailie " when its empty ... the reason i went with the H/D is the ride height remains the same full or empty to a degree

Looks good - nice rims.

I don't mind the ride height you've got.
...and when you have weight in the back I guess it'd still look good, maybe better - instead of looking like you have a sagging suspension problem.

I think it looks great... Nice look with the equal tyre gaps with the gaurds... looks like the old muscle cars with the jacked up rears.... not that its jacked up... I love taily cars.haha

funny you say that ... as when they asked me what height i wanted i said " gap " the guards equally... and that worked out exactly half way between std and lowered on the rear .... front is std lowered ( what ever the std lowered springs are )

Yep. Thats the way to do it! Not this 3 bags of cement in the boot look that all these 18 year olds seem to love. Its better for handling having the nose slightly lower than the back anyway.

380s and Magnas all seem to sit lower in the back. On standard springs, this doesn't show too much, but if you lowered your 380 - say - 2 inches all round, the back would look great (tyre equal to arch), yet front would show gap; I know, that's what happened with my Magna. So with my 380, I put SuperLows on front, and Lows on the rear so that it would be equal stance all round.
Hard to see clearly from your photo, but from your posts it sounds like you wanted the same thing too.

Their 19 inch TMR rims .... ( be aware their made by ROH and are available for ford and holden too of which one have the same stud pattern) but have different off set and u will blow your insurance / make the car unroadworthy if u use those ..... the TMR rims are only available from mitsubishi and with a set of goodyear F1,s you will get enough change from 2.5 k to buy a few pots do ease the pain
