howdy i apologise for this thread as i just got news,whilst in trying to get a wheel alignment today i was informed that mycv and suspension is shot and need replacing before i can even get a wheel alignment ,now my question is firstly is there a brand that anyone would suggest [as i dont want like a black and gold brand] and secondly is it possible to do this myself or should i leave it to the professionals thanx

Or dont wanna get your hands dirty.... haha
Not hard just time consuming. it needs a wheel alignment anyways so you doing it wont be a problem cause anything thats out will be put in its place when done.

a little from column a ana little from column b ,i just dont wanna make a $650 repair job into $1100 job

is it your drivers side cvshot?
that usually cost $95 to get replaced ( cv boot)
shocks KYB $400-$420 thats if you want good ones or you can get cheaper ones.

depends on what they mean by CV is shot? if its the inner or outer CV usually the quickest and best way is to by the entire shaft they usually go for around 120 a side and a fairly simple job of replacing them, a lot easier and quicker then rebuilding your old ones. As for shocks KYB are around 400 or odd for the set.

I Am Assuming Its The Drivers Side ,as When I Turn The Steering Wheel To Its Full Turn And Reverse It Makes A Tapping Noise And Apparently My Shocks Are Leaking Some Sort Of Oil ,and By The Sounds Of It Looks Like Kyb Are The Go
