hey all
I've spent the last hour struggling with removing the door edging trim from my tp. The main thing thats slowing me down is those black plastic screw like things that hold bits of the trim on, half of them a manage to rip out and i snap the rest. How on earth are you ment to get these bloody things out?

you buy the trim tool from any auto store (looks like a flathead screw driver that has the head on an angle with a v cut out the middle)
for like 4 bucks and remove all of them without breaking a single one:D
or if no money get a long handled flat head and take your time over each one, may break one or 2 but thats it .or just do what you did and get ****ty and rip the trim off then go to an auto store and buy a bag of like 30 for about 8 bucks:D

I made up a tool for a first gen

a flat piece of metal (not too thick ) trimed off the sharp edges

cut a square in it at one end

and that does the job to get between the door shell and under the trim

also gets to the clip on the door handle
