Just building a couple of speaker boxes for the back of me wagon.
Got a lot of that felt stuff left over from a house speakers I use to have (b4 I blew 'em  )
What's the point of the felt/any point putting it into a box for 6x9s?

softer surfaces dont reflect the sound waves as badly.

will help to direct and give the sound a more 'fuller sound'

ever noticed that the theater has them very heavy curtains on all the walls?
its to help with the reverberation, without those curtains the sound would be much worse.
same with the movie theaters as well.

EDIT - the felt will also help in stopping the box from vibrating and ruining the sound too.

gains will be marginal tho
